Medical Officer

Dr. Pollack is a HAIVN Medical Officer based in Hanoi. He joined the project in August, 2009. 

Dr. Pollack graduated from Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, in Boston, Massachusetts. He also spent a year as a chief medical resident, a role which primarily involves training of medical students and internal medicine interns and residents. Dr. Pollack has focused his training on HIV care and treatment and his interests include clinical care and physician training.

Dr. Pollack currently holds a joint faculty position in the Division of General Medicine and Primary Care and in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
