Nguyen Cong Hieu, BA Print E-mail

hieu.jpg Hieu Cong Nguyen is the VCHAP Administrative Assistant based in Ho Chi Minh City. He joined the project in 2006.

Mr. Nguyen is responsible for maintaining the office in Ho Chi Minh City and ensuring regular and proper communication between VCHAP and partner agencies. He also assists the project officer with monitoring and evaluation of the training activities.

Mr. Nguyen received his first bachelor degree in English linguistics and literature from University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City in 2001, and in the same year he graduated from College of Foreign Economic Relations with a second degree in export-import business administration. After his graduation, Mr. Nguyen worked different jobs which mainly focus on training and education. He was a college teacher of English for Saigon Institute of Technology which associates with Houston Community College System; a teacher at Vietnam-USA Society English Training Service Center; an agency best practice officer for American International Assurance Co. Ltd, where he trained and supervised agency force in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and Vung Tau Provinces); and a CDC project administrative assistant for the Ho Chi Minh City AIDS Committee.

With his support, Mr. Nguyen hopes that more Vietnamese physicians and nurses can access training and technical assistance on HIV/AIDS.
