Le Thi Suu, PA Print E-mail

suu.jpg Le Thi Suu is a VCHAP Nursing Project Officer based in Hanoi. She joined the project in 2006.

Ms. Suu is nursing teacher and a member of the standing committee of the Vietnamese Nurse Association. She graduated from the Hanoi Medical High School in December 1969. She was trained to become a nursing teacher at the Vietnam Ministry of Health. Throughout the years, she has been involved in developing many nurse training courses, as well as preparing and editing training material for Vietnamese nurses.

Between 2002-2006, Ms. Suu focused on caring for and consulting with HIV/AIDS patients under a cooperation project between the Canadian Nursing Association and the Vietnamese Nursing Association. Through this partnership, she gained significant experience working on the management of care for HIV/AIDS patients in community and home settings.

In March, 2005, Ms. Suu attended VCHAP's nurse training course for national trainers. In June, 2006, Ms. Suu joined the staff of VCHAP as a nursing project officer. Since that time, she has been actively involved in the organization of training courses for nurses in Vietnam. She looks forward to continuing to coordinate and organize trainings for Vietnamese nurses.
